DAM Annual Conference 2025

The annual meeting of the German-speaking Association for Microsurgery (DAM) took place from November 13 to 15, 2025 under the chairmanship of Prim. Prof. Dr. med. Matthias Rab, EMBA, FEBOPRAS took place in Vienna. The venue was the Medical Faculty of the Sigmund Freud Private University of Vienna.

Under the guiding theme of “Tradition – Reflection – Vision”, the conference was dedicated to the close connection between proven microsurgical techniques, the critical examination of current findings and innovative future perspectives. Together with international experts, new developments were discussed, existing concepts were reflected upon and visionary approaches for reconstructive microsurgery were presented.

As the largest microsurgical society in Europe, the DAM offered an excellent platform for high-caliber lectures, lively discussions and intensive exchange between colleagues at this annual meeting.

The participants experienced an inspiring conference at the interface of tradition and innovation – in a city that stands for historical heritage, cultural diversity and visionary power like no other.
