The FFG Forum 2025 focused on the central key technologies that strengthen Austria’s innovative power and competitiveness.
The focus was on quantum technology, artificial intelligence, life sciences, materials science, automotive and semiconductor technology.
Both the afternoon conference and the evening gala discussed the potential, challenges and possible applications of these technologies and highlighted new opportunities for companies and research in Austria.
Gertrude Tumpel-Gugerell, Chairwoman of the FFG Supervisory Board, and the two Managing Directors Henrietta Egerth and Karin Tausz welcomed numerous guests from politics, science and research to the evening event.
The afternoon conference was opened by Federal Minister Wolfgang Hattmannsdorfer. During the gala evening, Federal Minister Peter Hanke shared key insights, highlights and personal impressions after a review of the afternoon conference.
The presentation by Klemens Özelt (AI artist) was a particular highlight: He gave exciting insights into the AI revolution in the creative industries, showed how artificial intelligence is changing Hollywood and Netflix, and presented impressive AI-generated visions of the future.
Andi Knoll hosted the evening with charm and humor, providing an entertaining setting and a good atmosphere.
